Ryan is the Founder and CEO of Radical. Ryan’s ad agency career took off in 2001 managing marketing for Verizon Wireless. His agency teams laid the foundation for the explosive growth that Verizon achieved from 2001 to 2010 working on brand and product campaigns like “Can you hear me now?”, Droid, “We never stop working for you”, and the iPhone launch.
Ryan has developed marketing strategies and creative for some of the largest brands in the world – like Toyota, Audi, Verizon Wireless, Lexus, Deny’s, Firehouse Subs, and the Dallas Cowboys. Ryan’s passion turned into the relentless pursuit of newer and smarter ways for agency’s to service clients and market businesses, which led to starting Radical.
A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC, Mike’s ad journey has taken him to agencies like BBDO NY, Doner, Lawler Ballard, Doe Anderson, Earle Palmer Brown and Erwin-Penland Hill Holliday. Along the way he has helped create brand and bottom-line building ideas for Campbell’s Soup, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, The Michigan and Kentucky Lotteries, BNSF Railway, MICHELIN and Uniroyal Tires, National City Bank, Gillette, DeKuyper Cordials and Maker’s Mark Bourbon to name just a few.
Alex is Radical’s in-house trend setter. With a design and visual arts background Alex is both stylish and creative. Alex is the first person the team turns to for ad layout or photography set designs. Alex blends that rare ability to be both task oriented while also being extremely creative. More than anything Alex is just plain cool, and in today’s social landscape that’s an invaluable attribute for our clients to leverage in generating attention getting content.
The Numbers guy. I have an analytical mind yet always find myself drawn to creative endeavors from working on music video and short film sets to playing the drums in live shows and recording studios. I am a Greenville native who spent my college years in the Chattanooga area where I started to freelance marketing. This sparked my passion for using data to make creative digital strategies for clear, efficient communication all while fueled on a constant supply of coffee.
After years in the medical field, passion lead Kaitlin to Radical. She loves to help new and established brands grow, that is her passion, and she is relentless about it. She caters to clients of every and any size, and uses her experience and knowledge of business, marketing and years of client service to spot any opportunities in Radical’s current client accounts to incorporate a wider array of digital marketing services.
Encouraging vibes and black coffee fill this West Virginia native’s veins. After serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA, destiny brought Reiley to South Carolina. Despite her degrees in History and International Studies from West Virginia University, Reiley has always been artsy — equally igniting the left and right side of her brain. She is as detail-oriented as they come. Some of Reiley’s favorite things in life are sunsets, football season, theater, and the movie Gladiator.
Logan is a graphic designer who’s always ready to help bring our clients’ visions to life. He enjoys using his experiences in art and design to create effective and unique content. Passionate about the details, Logan is ready to take on any challenge while striving to find new ways to express his creativity. He also loves to experiment and try new things, from branding and web design to painting and drawing. Nothing is off-limits.
Maggie is a graphic designer, illustrator, and fine artist that loves using her surroundings to influence her work. She uses her experience in both graphic design and fine art to solve design problems effectively. Maggie is passionate about details and the concept behind the work. Above all, she loves serving people’s needs by being the creative brain behind their vision.
Nick is a South Carolina “native” and third generation Clemson Tiger who specializes in video production. Nick enjoys combining his graphic communications and filmmaking knowledge to take on new challenges every day. He is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with visual storytelling. Nick also enjoys traveling, water skiing, meeting new people and dancing SC’s state dance, the Shag.
Bea is Radical’s Digital Media Coordinator and Josh’s right-hand-gal. Her work is fueled by an appreciation for all things creative and a love for data patterns. With a background in communications and psychology, she never fails to analyze businesses from the eyes of the most important factor in the world of advertising – the consumer. Outside of media analytics, Bea focuses her energy on hiking, veggie gardening, and being an amateur cook.
Originally from San Jose California, and raised in Greenville SC, Callen was drawn to visual arts from a very young age and has been able to work with local companies and artists in the Greenville/Upstate and provide media/content in the forms of Videography, Photography, and Graphic Designs. His passion for film, photography, and art pushes him to continually attain his creative aspirations and visions.
