Brand & Content Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a talented individual to assist in managing the podcast and personal brand of the agency CEO. This is a unique opportunity to manage a wide range of marketing activities while being trained and mentored directly by Ryan.

Ryan has over 20 years of marketing and agency experience working on some of the largest and most known brands in the world. While the Radical agency has grown to be much larger and diverse than just one founder, much of the new business opportunities for the agency originate from the personal brand, podcast, and overall reputation of Ryan Alford’s marketing experience and success building brands of all sizes. 

The Brand & Content Marketing Assistant is a hybrid position that requires equal parts creative talent/skill with a natural curiosity for figuring out new opportunities and capabilities. You will need to understand branding and image while being resourceful and scrappy. 

 

Salary Range: $35,000-$45,000

Key Job Duties:

The Radcast Podcast (2 to 4 1-hour pre-recorded episodes per week)
      • Overall administrative coordination of the show
      • scheduling guests and making them feel RADICAL
      • Assisting with content and show ideas
      • Writing show outlines for guests and news
      • guiding resources to create content to support marketing of podcast 
      • Filming behind the scenes content
      • Social Media Management
      • Managing social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook, and  Instagram (adding TikTok)
      • Content calendar, posting, scheduling, captions, etc…
      • Utilize Sprout software
      • Respond to comments and DMs
      • Seek out show sponsors 
      • Coordinate existing sponsors
      • Manage podcast website (90% of site is automated, just minor updates as needed)
      • Manage podcast merchandise and work with team on new ideas
Ryan’s Personal Brand
      • Outbound networking/messaging to generate speaking opportunities and other brand engagements for Ryan
      • Managing social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook, and  Instagram. 
        • Content calendar, posting, scheduling, captions, etc…
        • Utilize Sprout software
        • Managing overall personal brand content including working with other resources to maximize the usage of content across platform
        • Filming/Photographing “smartphone” content for story type content 
      • Assist in managing company CEO website updating content and working with development team on new capabilities

  • Acquiring and nurturing advertising sponsors

  • Self-starter that doesn’t wait for others to seek out new ways to do things and new opportunities
  • Contributes to Ryan’s and the Radcast’s marketing efforts and demonstrates knowledge and understanding that if these brands as a whole grow and improves so too will the opportunities for the individual
