Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for a savvy team member to take over our social media presence online. Manage up to 10 accounts and execute building an up to date content calendar. Instagram, Facebook, X, Tik Tok etc. Execute on planning and producing content for 2 podcast shows, 1 personal brand, our media agency, and our coworking space. Remote hybrid or fully remote position. Part time.

This is a salaried position with a range of $20,000 to $30,000, depending on experience.

Key Job Duties:

  • Plan, create and manage social media postings for clients.
  • Create social media content as needed by clients.
  • Research current trends and audience preferences in order to create relevant content.
  • Facilitate and engage in online conversations with customers٫ including responding to queries or questions from clients.
  • Assist in monthly reporting for clients.
  • Develop and implement an optimal posting schedule٫ taking into consideration metrics and customer engagement.
  • Suggest and research new ways to attract or engage customers٫ including promotions٫ contests٫ or other methods.
  • Able to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Create content in the form of graphics, short form videos (reels/tiktoks), and images.
  • Staying up to date on the latest social media platforms and trends.
  • Sharing social media data with senior management.
  • Building a social community to elevates brands.
What does a good candidate look like:
  • A background in any of the following areas: Advertising, Marketing, Economics, Communications or Business, with a desire to always continue learning and improving social media skills.
  • Experience creating short form videos like Reels/TikToks .
  • A flexible team player with excellent written/verbal skills.
  • Autonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little direction.
  • Works well with others .
  • Basic understanding of social and digital advertising

  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking
